Retouches (catalogue 2022)
Synopsis
Objects, people, spaces and movements are all connected: The splashing of sea water resembles the movement of a windshield wiper, the running of a hurdler the flight of birds. Retouches follows this translation of one thing into another in an seemingly endless movement of images that erase and rebuild each other to connect various events and scenarios. Thus we do not see images that tell us a story but the process of how images come into existence, form a shape and then desolve again.
